Other children items are also fair game and easy to produce.  Any decorative item sell well and are easy to produce using standard tools or a well equipped shop.  Wall plaques, signs, small knick knacks, clocks, organizers and toys all are easy items to carry and make.  Take the time and drill down your choice.  If you decide to make a specific item, offer several variations of that item instead of getting diverse in other areas.  Niche markets are the rage and you will get known for your work rather quickly.
