What is an Amazon aStore?

The aStore is an Amazon storefront that allows you to create a dedicated shopping area on your already existing website.  This means you could have a non e commerce website and then add a shopping capability.  This keeps visitors on your site longer and provides you will a means to provide content and products at the same time.  All the products shown are carried on Amazon and you use Amazon to ship your product.

You can customize the look and feel to match your sites design.  By adding the aStore, you never need to write any code nor do you need to purchase a shopping cart (huge).  These are usually two big roadblocks to design and starting online.

Getting started is easy.  First you join Amazon as an associate.  Then you build the shopping area with their templates.  There are no fees associated with joining or building the store.  You make money based on a commission of sales when you sell any item.  You can see the benefit of carrying items that you do not normally carry or inventory.
